AGM Meeting

The clubs Annual General Meeting takes place at the November monthly meeting. We will be electing club officers and the Committee Members for next year.

As well as electing the club officers, We will also be choosing the charity for next year's Portrush Cavalcade. This year we expect to present a cheque for over £3000 to this years charity 'Welcome Organisation'

There are two nominees for next years Portrush Cavalcade.

Friends of Drumross

Friends of Drumross

Drumross Adult Centre, based on the O'Neill Road, Glengormly, supports adults with a learning disability through a Day-care Programme

'Friends of Drumross' support the Day-care programme to ensure that those people using the centre get the best possible Day-care experience by providing resources, funding outings and supporting special events. The support of 'Friends of Drumross' who raise money by hosting quizzes, bag packs and other events is a great asset to the services provided by the centre.

Autism NI

Austism NI works to provide life changing services for the 30,000 people living with the daily challenges of autism throughout Northern Ireland. These sevices include a parent support network, family support service, an early intervention service, training and education courses, development research as well as political lobbying.

One in thirty school age children in Northern Ireland are diagnosed with autism and this figure is set to steadily increase in the future. All funds raised by Autism NI remain within Northern Ireland and are used to improve the lives of those affected by this hidden disability.
