Annual Dinner Dance
17th May 2013
East Antrim Old Vehicle Club recently held their Annual Dinner Dance at Barnaby's Restaurant in Ballyrobert and on the night presented a cheque for £5000 to TinyLife, Northern Ireland's premature baby charity.
The funds were raised from their 11th Annual Belfast-Portrush Cavalcade which took place last August. The cavalcade assembled at Mossley Mill before heading for Portrush, were they held a static display at the Dunluce Centre Portrush.
More information about the club can be found at www.eaovc.co.uk.
Gillian Breen, Community Fundraiser for TinyLife says 'we are delighted to receive this cheque from the East Antrim Old Vehicle Club. Every day in Northern Ireland 7 babies are born too soon. Some will arrive as early as 24 weeks and weigh as little as 1lb. TinyLife provides emotional and practical support to the families of premature babies across Northern Ireland and it’s thanks to the support we receive from local people that we can continue to provide these services'.
